ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & OWNER
Judith (Tessitore) Nietupski is a native Rhode Islander who began her extensive study of dance at the age of five. As a child performer she was featured with numerous TV and radio personalities. She has attended numerous workshops throughout the US and is educated in various methods of traditional, cultural and social dance forms. Judi has appeared with celebrities and was honored to become Mrs. Rhode Island America in 1986 and had the opportunity to participate in the nationally televised Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas where she was awarded Best Costume and Mrs. Congeniality.
Among her diverse interests in the dancing world, Judi has long been dedicated to Polynesian and Hawaiian dance forms. She brings this exotic magic to RI from studies at Brigham Young University and field studies all throughout Hawaii. Judi presents her students with many opportunities to participate and perform at various events such as the premiere opening of the animated Disney movie, Lilo & Stitch, at various Showcase Cinema locations, the RI World War II Memorial, Christmas-is, Jerry-Lewis Telethon and many more throughout the years. "Dancing with Stars" also chose this studio to film one of their productions, which included some of her students.
Judi T. holds many prestigious awards such as "Woman of the Year" and the "Distinguished Community Service Award". For over 40 years she has directed an educationally entertaining studio with professionalism for all her students and families to enjoy and remember for a lifetime.
miss jennifer
TEACHER/ CHOREOGRAPHER
Jennifer is a RIC graduate with a bachelors degree in business management. Her talents and skills include acrobats, ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz & Hawaiian. Jen’s many years of training and experience in dance have earned her the position of top choreographer & assistant director to the Judi T. Dance Studio & C.E.O and Liaison to the Party Line. Locally & nationally, Jen has participated in numerous shows & charitable organizations. She frequently visits Hawaii and continues to study under the direction of Derek Daniels; world famous director, producer & choreographer. Miss Jen’s favorite part of teaching dance is instilling confidence and discipline in her students!
ms. jessica
Teacher/Choreographer
Jessica's love of dance can be recognized in her style of teaching tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, Hawaiian, hip hop, and acrobats. Jessica has performed locally and nationally in numerous shows. She continues to study authentic Hawaiian/Polynesian dancing by traveling to Hawaii and performing and attending classes on a yearly basis. She is a 2011 graduate of Coventry High School where she was on the dance team and then head coach for 7 years. She also attends various classes, seminars, and competitions in order to stay current with the evolving dance world. In 2015 she graduated from the University of Rhode Island and is also employed at Rhode Island Children’s Dentistry. The only thing Jessica loves more than performing herself, is sharing her love & passion of dance with her students!
Miss Lauren
Teacher/ Choreographer/ Competition director
Lauren is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and is also a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a Master of Business Administration. She is employed at Magna Hospitality Group as an Administrative Assistant. Lauren has studied over 17 years with our studio and became an avid dancer. She teaches all styles of dance, specializing in acrobatics and always encourages her students to reach for the stars! Lauren is also the competition director of the Judi T. Dance Company Team!
Miss Yasmine
TEACHER/ choreographer
Yasmine is a dance and psychology major at Dean college. In addition she currently works as a Hip hop/Jazz dance performer at Mohegan Sun Casino. Yasmine graduated from ACT performing arts high school where she was a dance major as well. Yasmine has taught and choreographed for many events such as the CTA performing arts summer camp and Third Thursday street festival in Willimantic, CT. Miss Yasmine specializes in ballet and jazz and is excited to help her students improve their dance technique and enhance their overall love for dance!
Ms. Amanda
TEACHER/ choreographer
Amanda is an experienced dancer who specializes in tap. In addition to teaching tap, Amanda can be found in the kickboxing gym preparing for her next match or hiking with her dogs. Her one year old son, Ben, keeps her busy when she’s not teaching at the studio. She’s excited to be back and continue on this journey!
Mr. Easton
TEACHER/ CHOREOGRAPHER
Easton is a navy veteran originally from Texas and has been dancing since he was 7 years old with a main focus in Hip-Hop. Easton started dancing competitively at 13 years old and is proud to have competed at the world dance competition in Disney World. He loves dancing and teaching the next generation of dancers. This season you can find him teaching our all boys hip hop & acrobats, as well as intermediate hip hop classes!
